He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eldon Swenson and Erma Jarman Swenson; his sons, David LaVell Swenson and Rodney E Swenson; and his brother Merlyn.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Lee Swenson Gourley, Joe Neil Swenson (Jolene) and Julie Ann Swenson Keele (Mark); his significant other Mary Jo; and his siblings, Dawnetta Sagers, Elma Rae Stubbs, Morris Swenson and Garn Swenson. He is also survived by his children, (Diana, Joe, and Julie), 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
