He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudius Ray and Florinda Hokanson Richardson; and his siblings, Lola Williams, Zella Rasmussen and Theral Richardson.

He is survived by: his children, Wade Richardson (Loraine), Lonny Richardson, Kary Richardson (Dana), Sandy Arnoldsen (Marc), Teri Morris (Ken), Jenn Arnold (Steve), Gary Brown, Lavonda Brown and Shelly Daw; and his wife Betty. He is also survived by 7 children, 46 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
