He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ray and Maurine McCoy (Jensen); his wife Dana; his daughters, Heather McCoy, Kaitlyn Polansky (Nicholas), Megan Reitz (Jordan) and Riley McCoy; his granddaughter Alina Polansky; and his siblings, Lynette McCoy, Diane McCoy, Mary Lynn Schaerrer (Bart), John T. McCoy and Karen Clothier (Brian). He was also cherished by four nieces, and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations be made to the Humanitarian Fund or Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
