He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Donald Clayton and Isabella McBride Clayton; and his brother Glade. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Rowley Clayton; his children, Kelvin Douglas "Doug" Clayton (Ann), Nancy Poulsen (Lyle), Gregory David Clayton (Violet) and Annalee Poulsen (Troy); and his brother Conway. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
