With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Wright (Orem, Utah), born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Leland Barrett; her husband Ken Wright; her parent Rhea Barrett; and her brothers, Bruce Barrett and Ron Chowen.
She is survived by: her children, Kristen (Mark Preston), Kim (Ray Smith), Kenny Wright (Jay Garcia) and Katie (Peter Thorpe); her grandchildren, Karlee, Ryker Hill, Brooke, Zach Allman, Mark, Kassidy, Luke, Micah Preston, Hunter, Liz, Meghann, Garrett, Micayla, Emilee, Briggs Smith, Riley, Emma, Lydia and Barrett Thorpe; and her great grandchildren, Myla, Maleah Smith and Billie Allman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeridge 8th Ward (80 W 900 S, Orem, UT 84058). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lakeridge Church (80 W 900 S, Orem, UT 84058).
