He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hirst and Cyntha Hirst. He is survived by: his children, Chelsi Lyn (Ryan), Shaun Karl and Nathan Karl (Ashley); his grandchildren, Samantha (Dallin), Bailey, Ashlynn (Tony), Coleman (Ella), Jaxsyn, Preslee, Abigail, Greyson, Paxton and Reese; and his brothers, Paul (Christine) and Robert (Lorri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been set up to provide sports opportunities for underprivileged children. Donations can be made here.
