It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Laura Nixon of Orem, Utah, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert H. Johnson and Rachel E. Butler; her husband Stanley Reed Nixon; her sons, Mark R. (Sheryl), Robert D. (Tamara), Clair J. (Laura), Evan G. (Cheryl) and Carl B.; her sister Vaudys Rigby; her son Jay H.; and her grandson Reed B. Nixon. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be sent to the Church's Humanitarian fund.
