He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant E. Smith and Mary Robertson Smith; his stepmother Marie Stevens; and his son Steven Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Marie Lewis; his daughter Sherry Holdaway (Wendall); his grandchildren, Corbin Holdaway (Melanie), Cameron Holdaway (Stacy), Devri Orton (Zack) and Brandon Smith (Aaron); and his siblings, Helen Basinger, LuDean Lund, Marsha Ashcroft and Ray Smith. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
