She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil F. Swenson and Ruth Thomsen Swenson; her husband Phillip Ray McDonald; her daughter Kimberlee; her granddaughter Christina; and her brothers, Robert Swenson (Fumie) and Kenneth Swenson (Rosemary).

She is survived by: her children, Debilyn McDonald, Bret McDonald (Christine) and Beckyann Watson (Steven). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
