As Joan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joan. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Macie Utannah McCullough and McCullough; and her husband Reid J Gunnell. She is survived by: her brother Davis Hargrave (Ruth); and her children, Reid W Gunnell (Diane), Karen Baughman Chapman, Julie Kofoed, David J Gunnell (Allyson) and Sherri Rogers (Tracy). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and 73 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the LDS Chapel (620 Heather Rd, Orem, UT 84097). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
