He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis Truman Hoag and Emily Ida Marie Kader; his former wife Karen Ann Rupp of September; his wife Barbara Cox Hoag; his children, Matthew Hoag (Stephanie) of St. George, Utah, David Hoag of Provo, Utah, Kimberly Lumingkewas (Marthen) of Taylor, Texas, Kathryn Sandor of Denver, Colorado and Kristin Gardiner (Curtis) of Erlangen, Germany; and his siblings, Martin Kader, Laura Hookway and Thomas Clemens. He was also cherished by her five children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
