He is survived by: his friend James A Spencer; his children, John Ray, Christopher and Anne Spencer; his grandchildren, Zackary and Aiden; his sister Carolyn Porter; and also, Amanda Poteet (Jimmy), Riley, Makenna Jacobson (Derrik), Hayes, Ozzie, Joni Remkes (Ryan), Jaxon, Skyler, Mackley, Russell Peterson (Kim) and Amelia.
