He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bean and Dona Clark Sumner; and his sister Sylvia Sumner Strong (Clyde Strong). He is survived by: his wife Eris Christine Yergensen Sumner; his daughters, Sherry Sumner Heaps (Steve) and Pamela Sumner Doak (Jim); and his siblings, Sandi Sumner Hendry (Mike) and Brent Sumner (Becky). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
