He was predeceased by: his grandson Darrell Hugh Ewell. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Sloan; his children, Greg (Irene), Julie Ewell (Ken) and Holly Hendrickson (Brian); and his brother Wallace Sloan of Cardston. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
