With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Hal Holmstead (Orem, Utah), born in Lehi, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 74. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gordon Hal had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Gordon Hal may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Evans Holmstead and Kathryn Smith Holmstead. He is survived by: his children, Christa Ringer (Greg), Dax Holmstead (Krystal), Cecily Miller (Aaron), Carras Holmstead (Kathryn) and Bo Holmstead (Cindy); his wife Claudia Hall; and his siblings, Jan Robinson (Randy), Lori Berry (Doug), Kurt Holmstead (Karen) and Jay Holmstead (Sondra). He is also survived by children, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Park 6th Ward (195 W 300 S St, Orem, UT 84058).
