She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin L. Jones and LaFlorence B. Jones; her husband Howard Keith Powers; her children, Courtney Lane Powers and Brett Warren Powers (Daleina); her grandchildren, Freedom Champion, Gunner Champion, Joaquin Powers, Dawson Powers and Gavin Powers; and her siblings, Mike, Marshall, Terry Ann, Pamela, Rodney and Alan. She was also cherished by forty nieces and nephews and approaching one hundred great nieces and nephews.
Her mission in life was to constantly build Faith, Hope and Charity in herself and others.
