She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anna Emma Grell and Newell Hurtt; her sister Gloria Barbour; her former spouse Navy Seaman John Smith; her husband Blaine Howell; her children, Jim Smith (Maggie), Chris Smith, Ron Smith (Amy) and Eileen Chamberland (Richard); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Knight (Evan), Ben Smith (Rachel), Alison Fox (Travis), Mooey Sordo (Steve), Aaron Smith (Alex), Linwood Smith (Leslie), Anthony Smith (Renee), Lori Puffer (Nat), Caitlin Douris (Nick), Peter Chamberland, Ashleigh Chamberland, Ellie Chamberland, Katie Priest (Jon) and Meri Chamberland. She was also cherished by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
