She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Douglas (Lori Edwards), Lauren (Brian Waite), Jeffrey (Kathy Edwards), Lisa (Robert Carlson), David Brooks (Sheri-Ann Edwards) and Gregory Charles; her parents, Paul Hermann and Belva Erickson Gehring; her siblings, Jay and Gloria; her grandmother Erickson; and her sister Dana Kaye Gehring Hayward. She was also cherished by mother and daddy, big brother and sister, and many other family members.
Their influence on the young couple, and the enduring friendship they shared, would help lay the foundation on which Dixie and Charlie would build their family.
