He was predeceased by: his father Bruce Merrill; and his father-in-law Nedim Khalil Mukhar (Ned). He is survived by: his mother Beth Merrill of Provo, UT; his wife Maddi (Maddi); his children, Luke Merrill, Lauren Willes (Gabe) and Jackson Merrill; his mother-in-law Beverly Mukhar of Atwater, CA; his siblings, Craig Merrill (Andrea) of Provo, UT, Karen Merrill of San Francisco, CA, Diana Osiek (Brent) of Bountiful, UT, Janette Pace (Brandon) of Pleasanton, CA and Julie Hinkson (Ralph) of Draper, UT; and his sisters-in-law, Nora Reardon (Steve) of Atwater, CA and Debbie Mukhar of Coonabarabran, NSW. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
