He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Russell Smith and Ruby May Barter; his former spouse Neil Pace; his grandfather Barter; his wife Deanne Murano; his sons, Neil Smith (Carol) and Nicholas Smith (Jelynn); his siblings, Sherian Morris, RoShan Keele (Steve), Brett Pace, Shane Pace (Trudy), Bart Pace (Debra), Sherida and Sidney Pace; and his brother-in-law Neal Morris. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
