He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Delmer and Oreta Loraine Johnson Tate; his brother Lynn; his daughter Stephanie; and his granddaughter Briana.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Liz Krewson (Rob), Becky Ahlberg (Joe), Coray Tate (Krista), Janet Stevens (Kent), Amy Daniels (Tyler) and Kim Brannon (Kiley); and his sister Pauline. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
