We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2022, at the age of 91, Chariton Douglas Hinckley of Orem, Utah, born in Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Carlyle Hinckley Sr. and Emma Jacobs Hinckley; his brother Edwin Carlyle Jr. (Beula Bell); his former wife Patricia Clark; his children, Elisabeth of Redondo Beach, CA, David (Debbie) of Seattle, WA, Robin (Bradford Stevenson) of Alpine, UT and Peter of Helena, MT.; his wife Carol Olcott Winkel; and his children, Randy Winkel (Koreen Graham) of Wenatchee, WA and DeAnne Winkel (Craig Flynn). He was also cherished by family resulted in 18 amazing grandchildren and 18 adorable great-grandchildren.
