“This is Eliza Stevenson and I was in Carson’s third and fifth grade classes. I remember frosting cookies with him and his mom at one of our class parties. I also remember playing with him on the swings in elementary, and the assembly in fifth grade where Mr. Lewis gave him the Hope of America Award. I don’t know that Carson counted me as a friend, but I have always counted him as one, and I will always be thankful for his kindness to me. I am so sorry and please know you are in my prayers.”
