He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Carter Peterson; the mother of his children Shirley Carter Peterson; and his parents, Harold Peterson and LaDean Madsen. He is survived by: his wife Chrissy Brown Peterson; his children, Bill Peterson, Wendy Wallace, Jamie Dunn and Tammy Kingston; and his sisters, Judy Christensen, Sherry Shenk, Karen Crabtree and Jean Leuck.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Orem City Cemetery (1520 N 800 E, Orem, UT 84097).
