It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Beulah W. She is survived by: her grandmother Pratt; her sister Dorothy; her husband Claude Mendenhall; and her brother LaDell.
She said, When I'm too old to plant, then you better just plant ME!" She was still digging in the dirt 3 weeks before she passed away. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, Del and Athleen Pratt Walton, brothers, LaDell, Gale and Kay, and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by two sons, Brian and Vivien Mendenhall of Grace, Idaho and Vernon and Ann Mendenhall of Spanish Fork, Utah, three daughters, Peggy and Richard Owens of Preston, Idaho, Julie and Kevin L. Bitton of Grace, Idaho, and Shauna Manhart of Provo, Utah. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at noon at the Thatcher-Williams Ward Chapel in Niter Idaho. Family will visit with friends on Saturday morning at the church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Lago Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to a charity of your choice.
