He is survived by: his wife Kathie of Monticello Utah; his children, AnnMarie Dallin (Bruce), Kristi Albright (Carl), Shellie Roberts (Ryan), Matthew Kuhni (Shari) and Steven Kuhni (Jenny); and his brother Melvin. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (500 S 600 W, Orem, UT 84058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

“Dear Kuhni family, Thank you for such a wonderful funeral. I watched online. I was glad to hear how much Arlin loved holding hands. Back ten or twelve years ago, I was assigned to be a greeter for Sacrament meeting. I would smile and say hello, and offer a handshake. My hands are typically warm, and Arlin appreciated the warmth because it was wintertime. Soon we met each other with both hands out and visited a bit while his hands warmed. He's wonderful.”
