He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Kullberg Bergin and Bernard Francis Bergin; and his sons, Michael Robert and Daniel James. He is survived by: his wife Marian Shafer Bergin; his children, David (Christi), Sue, Cyndy Bennett (Scott), Kathy Cook (Chad Hickman), Eric (Mary), Ben (Brooke) and Patrick; and his sister Carol Bergin. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
