It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Bahr (Orem, Utah), who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martin and Ruth Mitchell Bahr; and his siblings, Wilma, Carl, Leland and Marvin.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Cloud (Allen), Pamalyn Andersen (Chuck), Kathy Anderton (Greg), Karen Anderson, Gregg Bahr (Camie) and Chad Bahr (Tanya); and his siblings, Don, Jean, Sharon and Marilyn. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

“Alan was a good friend and a great man! We were both teachers, and knew each other through the school system. We also knew each other through the LDS church When I was a new Elders Quorum President, he was the high councilman that helped me to understand what I needed to do. A few years later, he was the Bishop of the 4th Ward, when I became the Bishop of the 2nd Ward. We were in the same building, and he helped me tremendously to know what to do as a new Bishop. I love him very much!”
