She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Burgess and Erma Burgess; and her daughter Paula Lee Madsen. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Hughes; and her children, Suzette Roberts (Wayne), Thomas Hughes (Shlisa), John Hughes (Allisha) and Coralie Seright (Clint). She is also survived by her three siblings.
