She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence and Geraldine Smith Chevalier; her children, Cindy Sue Chevalier and James Charles Chevalier; and her brother Jerry Chevalier.
She is survived by: her husband Kent W. Peterson; her grandsons, James Thomas Chevalier and Levi Michael Johnston; and her sister Diane Underwood. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
