He was predeceased by: his daughter Marie; his parents, Connie Nielsen and Ether Nielsen (Stan); and his siblings, Lloyd, Elwood Nielsen and Donna Sorenson.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Palmer Nielsen; his children, Debbie Campbell (Ty), Michael Nielsen (Natasha), Natalie Kofford (Jeff), Kirk Nielsen (Danielle), Melanie Lee (Scott) and Kristen Marberger (Jack); and his sister Marion Reese. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
