In the vast expanse of eternity, may Russell find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Russell Ashment and Exta Juanita Reynolds Preston; his wife Lena Karen Ashment; and his sister Marellen Exta Ashment. He is survived by: his children, Michael Ashment (Terri), Jolene Paul (Andrew) and Bryan Ashment; and his sister Rosita Whitaker. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Myers Mortuary (205 S 100 E, Brigham City, UT 84302). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Brigham City Cemetery (300 S 300 E, Brigham City, UT 84302). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (205 S 100 E, Brigham City, UT 84302).
