He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Hazard Shapiro; his children, Ronald (Carrie Shapiro), Samuel (Lukie Shapiro), James (Rebecca Shapiro), Daniel Shapiro (Sybil Nienke), Ellen (Scott Campbell), Benjamin (Heidi Shapiro), Jacob (Becky Shapiro), Leah (Chad Rogers) and Jack Shapiro; and his siblings, Teresa (Bruce Talbot), Arlyn (Sheryl Shapiro), Gloria Bartlome, Bruce (Mischell Shapiro), Jack Sterling Shapiro and David (Holly Shapiro). He is also survived by 44 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
