He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Whaley; his parents, Paul H. Whaley and Winifred Young Whaley; his sister Marcella W. Walker; and his granddaughter Alexis Dawn Whaley.
He is survived by: his brother Lee Whaley; and his children, Craig Whaley (Tonya), Susie Dillard, Paula Hill (Keith) and Ryan Whaley (Kristi). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
