As Owen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Owen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Owen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ashbaker and Fontella Daines Ashbaker. He is survived by: his wife Betty Young Ashbaker; his children, Mikal (Jani), Darwin (Jeanette) and Angela Ashbaker; his sisters, Gloria Peck (Eldon) and Sarah Ida Mansfield (Craig); and his sister-in-law Mickie Warner. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
