He is survived by: his children, Jacob Michael, Joseph Allan, Christina Anne Carmen and Malachi Stephan Schlegel; his grandchildren, Octavia, Christopher, Riley and Wesley; his siblings, Jonathan Eugene, Stephen Wayne and Susan Jayne Schlegel; his niece Amanda; and his former spouses, LeAnne Tidwell Schlegel and Jami Bailey.
