She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucretia Willis Grissom Allgood and Talmage D. Allgood; her husband Warren; her siblings, James, Violet, Ida (Pat) and Anna Grissom; and her children, Bruce (Meiling), Becky Homer, Eileen Parr (Ron), David (Leslie) and Sandy Cottle (Kevin).
She is survived by: her family, Provo, Montana and Evansville.
Mattie also served as a hostess in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building where she enthralled people with her stories of the building for almost 14 years when Covid-19 ended her service.
