Lou Jean Swan Findlay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Jean Swan Findlay (Ogden, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leslie Swan and Louise Brotherton Swan; her husband Blair Findlay; her sons, Paul Rice, Douglas Findlay and Jim Findlay; her daughter-in-law Shirie Howard Findlay; her grandson Brandon Rice; and her siblings, Gordon Swan (Nita), John Richard Swan (Nell) and Barbara Nicholls (George).
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Findlay (late Shirie), Carol Anne Carter (Dave), Leslie Vaughn (Brent) and Teresa Sanderson (Barry); and her daughters-in-law, Susan (late Douglas) and Patricia Rice Sutherland (Scott). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park (4500 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403).
