He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lester and Clara Lofthouse Schoonmaker; his daughters, Patricia Schoonmaker and Marilyn Layton; and his siblings, Emily, Freda and Jay.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Smith (David), Lake City, Michael Schoonmaker (Julie) of Pleasant View, UT and David Schoonmaker (Sherlyn) of Cedar Hills, UT.; and his siblings, Wilma, Carol and Charles.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
