He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kirkland and Mary Kirkland; and his brother Leslie Stephen Kirkland. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Allee; his grandchildren, Zachery John Allee, Serena Adeline Allee and Angelina Darlene Allee; his stepgrandchildren, Alysha Rae Allee and Cody Nicholas Allee; his siblings, Dennis Kirkland (MaryAnne), Larry Kirkland (Susan), Sandra Durrant (Kevin) and Susan Wilson (Kyle); his former wife Leah Adeline Kirkland; his children, Wyatt Wilkinson (Marissa), Kari Ward (Burke), Jane Davis, Eric Wilkinson and Piper Montemayor; and his friend Louis L'amour. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
