She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hansen and Bernice Gailey Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Nick Toulatos; her children, Cody Shipley, Calli Toulatos (Nathan Wilson), Lindsay Toulatos (Ben Jensen) and Gus Toulatos; and her grandchildren, Sophia, Eleni, Alex and Oscar.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jan's honor to Huntsman Cancer Institute or South Ogden Animal Shelter.
