She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrea Martinez (White-Vigil) and Ben Martinez; her honey Nicholas R. Cota; her sons, Rudy Cota and James Larose (Jim); her son-in-law Jose Abrego; her grandchild Laundo Abrego; and her great great grandchild Slate Scoffield.
She is survived by: her husband Nicholas R. Cota of Joseph's Catholic Church; her children, Nicholas Cota (Lori), Lupe Sawley (Derk), Josephine Mander (Vince) and Michelle Abrego (Jose); and her siblings, Poncho Martinez (Virginia), Archie Martinez (Rosie), Josephine Martinez and Rosie Martinez (Donna). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Josephs Catholic Church (514 24th St, Ogden, UT 84401). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Ogden Cemetery (1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401).
