He was predeceased by: his parents, Afton Marjory (Butler) and Donald O Nye; his brother Leonard Nye; and his daughter Tami Nye Field. He is survived by: his wife Susan Edna Hamblin; his children, Gary Dee Nye and Jackie Mills; and his siblings, Ronald Nye, Curt Nye, Ty, Marlee Nye, Connie Harding, Dawn, Tim Chatelain, Annette, Wayne Wilson, Debbie, Elmer Yates and Teresa Stephens. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
