It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Marquez-Montoya (Ogden, Utah), born in Price, Utah, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Esther may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Esther touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Montoya; and her parents, Melquadez Marquez and Manuelita Marquez. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wilson, Anthony Russell (Arnae), Russell, Carrie Russell and Robert Russell; and her brother Pressy Marquez. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, a plethora of great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
