He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert and Thelma; his wife Alice; his son Andy; his granddaughter Amyjo; and his siblings, Earl, Don, Jean, Verla and Edna.

He is survived by: his children, Jesse Anderson, Jackie Surrage (Jimmy) and Billy Anderson; and his brothers, Chuck (Kathy) and Darrel (Elienne). He is also survived by friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
