He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Groves; his children, Corey Choate (Shawn), Kimberly Choate, Emily Kavmark (Timothy) and Ashlee Kerr (Randon); his grandchildren, Skyelie, Kendyl, Grey, Cohen and Remi; his great grandchildren, Beckham, Graham and Noah; his brothers, Lee Choate (Gayleen), Dan Choate and Kimbal Choate (Anneta); and his brother-in-law Melvin Campbell.
