He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Ray and Elaine Rundquist Child. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Sue Peterson; his children, Cameron (Cicely) and Ashlee (Chelsea); his grandsons, Bentley, Rafe, Breck and Oliver; and his siblings, Christine Caldwell (Ted), Lisa Holmes (Scott), Lon (Patti) and Michael (Kristine).
