He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley C. Panter and Edna R. Taylor Panter; his grandfather Chuck; his brother Calvin Panter; his wife JoAnn Nelson; and his children, Cheryl Sowers (Richard) and Randy Panter.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Delzer (Lonnie) and Curt Panter (Elizabeth Crookston); his sister Dorine Hewitt; and also, JoAnn and Dennis Nelson (Annie). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
He received several awards from his peers for his contributions to the ski industry, including: Outstanding.
