The memory of Athena Halkidis (Ogden, Utah), who passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid adieu to Athena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Athena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parent Argere Souravlis; her husband Vasilios Halkidis (Vasili); and her parent Gust Souravlis. She is survived by: her daughter Lena Wood (Mark); her grandchildren, Abbey and Watson Wood; and her sister Litsa Bournakis (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, Ogden Food Bank, or McKay Dee Hospital in Athena's honor.
