He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Silva Garcia and Gilberto, Jr. Silva; and his siblings, Jose Angel Garcia, George Garcia, Ernesto Garcia and Marie A. Samples.
He is survived by: his sister Corine Garcia; and his children, Anna Zimmer (Nester Hurtado), Linda Tistempa (Eugdio Tiatempa-Lepivz) and Alex Ray Garcia (Angel Garcia). He is also survived by six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
